How a Personal Move Led to a New Relocation Company

Hi, my name is Bárbara!

The idea behind Easyrelocation started in 2006 when I was working in London as a virtual and personal assistant to pay for my Nutrition and Naturopathy college degree.

While assisting several families displaced from their home countries for work reasons, my desire to help people on their journeys was born! I was responsible for building their new life in the country, managing the bureaucracy and everything needed, including finding real estate to settle in.

My willingness to help and my entrepreneurial streak led me to believe I would be very successful if I worked hard, even though I was only 21 and did not have my own life in order. After all, it was my parents’ legacy, who were true visionaries and always made me believe in my dreams.

After 9 years in London, I returned to Portugal and started working as an operations manager for a British IT company. Unfortunately, despite being a great career opportunity, I went through a period of great discouragement and high stress since I did not feel fulfilled.

With my partner’s support, I went ahead and found the motivation I had been longing for and trusted my gut feeling to start my own company during the pandemic. It was a leap of faith but so worth it.

Liveasy Lisbon and EasyRelocation were born

First, I founded Liveasylisbon, concentrating our services in the city of Lisbon. I could not believe how successful we became so quickly and the feedback we received from our clients!

We have expanded, and I could employ those around me, changing lives and making dreams come true. So now, Easyrelocation was born, with more comprehensive services and nationwide coverage with concierge and buyer’s agent services.

I am very grateful for my journey and the trials I’ve been through that made me stronger and more determined. I am also thankful for my family, collaborators, and clients who believe in me. Nothing would be possible without them.
